Its always nice to see our work when it’s launched on TV, and this little film for the UK Charity WaterAid is no exception. Filmed in Madagascar by DP Andrew Clark and directed by Rob Patmore of Crossbow DRTV, it tells the story of 11-year-old Melanie, a little girl from Madagascar who makes the difficult and dangerous journey to collect dirty water every day. The spot which will air on UK Television, is part of a WaterAid appeal to draw attention to the global water crisis in the third world. Without access to safe water for drinking, cooking and cleaning, people are more likely to suffer from water-related diseases. These can be fatal, killing over 1,400 children a day. Will you help to lift the burden for a child like Melanie?
