About Us

In 1996, a small group of some of the best producers, cameramen and journalists in Asia got together to create AsiaWorks. Two decades later, we’re now Asia’s leading independent media company, creating original content and providing video productiontransmission and webcast services.

We’ve got round-the-clock offices and staff in Bangkok, Beijing, Singapore, and Jakarta. We also have a huge network of partners and freelancers. We go anywhere you can think of in Asia, bringing with us our reputation for compelling storytelling, excellent production values, and tailor-made solutions for every kind of project. Contact us.

AsiaWorks opened its first office in Bangkok in 1996, and it was quickly joined by a long list of broadcasters at the Maneeya Center who utilise our facilities regularly. AsiaWorks Bangkok provides transmission services, original content, and production services to all of these and many more, truly making it a one-stop media hub for Bangkok and the rest of the region.

AsiaWorks opened its Jakarta office a few months before the fall of Soeharto, and its output has reflected the vast changes that Indonesia has experienced in that time, from the tumultuous period of reform in the early days, to the 2004 tsunami, to the emerging power the country is today. Through it all, AsiaWorks Jakarta has provided transmission and production services as well as original content to major non-profit organisations, broadcasters, and corporations.

Since 2001

Since 2001

AsiaWorks opened its Singapore office in 2001, quickly establishing itself as an important component in Singapore’s busy media world. Like all our offices, it reflects the city it’s in: energetic, dynamic, and dedicated to creating the best original content and providing the best production and transmission services in the region.

AsiaWorks  opened its Beijing Office in 2006, becoming the first independent Asian production company to get Representative Office status by China’s State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT).

Since then, the Beijing office has created innovative and eye-catching original content and provided stellar cinematographers and other production staff to documentaries, broadcast clients, and corporates.
